Lansing's vacation ornaments return to downtown to kick off Huge Crimson Ball Week

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– It is starting to look so much like Christmas in downtown Lansing.

The Lansing Vacation Ornaments have been set as much as kick off what the town is asking Huge Crimson Ball Week to rejoice the upcoming vacation season upfront of the fortieth annual Silver Bells within the Metropolis.

“DLI is excited to kick off a week of Big Red Ball themed specials this week in Downtown Lansing,” stated Cathleen Edgerly, Govt Director of DLI.

“The holiday season is such a fun time for our community to come together and celebrate our uniqueness. We hope the community will come and experience all of what Michigan’s Downtown has to offer this holiday season and take advantage of the many ways to get involved and support our local businesses.”

Over the weekend, the state Christmas Tree was delivered to the Capitol.

The state Christmas tree is a 60-foot spruce donated by Wealthy and Dorcas Albertson of Eagle, Michigan, situated quarter-hour northwest of Lansing.
