Bitmain was based by the billionaire Jihan Wu and is the world’s largest producer of crypto mining tools. In accordance with Bloomberg, it deliberate to broaden its US operations and open up a facility in both Texas or Florida throughout Trump’s newfound bitcoin mining push this 12 months.

In July 2024, Bitmain sued one other internet hosting associate known as JWKJ Applied sciences. It accused the agency of violating its contract by failing to maintain its miners working for 95% of the time and likewise by redirecting mining energy for its personal earnings.

When Bitmain tried to get its tools again, JWKJ refused, and Bitmain accused the agency of unlawfully detaining its $15 million price of mining tools.
