LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Michigan Legal professional Common Dana Nessel and 20 different attorneys common are asking the Senate Judiciary Committee to require additional questioning of Kash Patel.

Patel is President Donald Trump’s nominee for FBI Director. In a letter addressed to Senate Judiciary Chair Chuck Grassley, Nessel expressed her considerations over studies of, “politically motivated firings,” on the FBI and efforts to compile lists of brokers concerned in investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riots.

“Our partnership with the FBI has been critical to dismantling some of Michigan’s most dangerous criminal operations, from violent offenders to human trafficking rings, and securing justice for victims,” stated Nessel in a information launch despatched to six Information.

“Gutting sources and forcing out skilled brokers will weaken our potential to carry criminals accountable and put our communities in danger. Michigan residents deserve solutions,” added Nessel.

The letter additionally condemns the “attacks” on regulation enforcement by the Trump administration. She says the administration has made efforts to undermine public security by firing U.S. Attorneys, pardoning rioters and trying to chop funding to regulation enforcement throughout the nation.
