SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A co-owner of the Lewis Journey Farm and Zoo was hit by an worker and killed within the car parking zone of the enterprise on Friday, deputies say.

Round 7:45 a.m., deputies with the Oceana County Sheriff’s Workplace have been despatched to the Lewis Journey Farm and Zoo after receiving a report that an individual had been hit by a automobile and was caught beneath it.

Cindy was not only a cherished leader of Lewis Farms, but also a devoted wife, mother, and friend to so many in our community. Her sudden loss is devastating beyond words.”
