The cuts come as “costs of operations are significantly out of line with usage, volumes or the value that customers place on them”, the grocery store chain mentioned.

Regardless of shuttering 52 of its cafes, Morrisons mentioned this providing “has a bright future” in most places. In 2021 there have been 406 Morrisons cafes.
