Longtime MSU host, PA announcer Terry Braverman dies

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Terry Braverman, the longtime host and public tackle announcer for Michigan State College athletics, has died. He was 86 years previous.

Braverman’s household mentioned he died Thursday after combating a number of myeloma.

“Known affectionately — and by many — over the years as TB, T, Pops, Uncle Terry, or just Dad, he lived as full a life in his 86 years as one can imagine, leaving behind countless stories, laughs, memories, good (and bad) jokes, (Frank) Sinatra albums, friends, and a vast assortment of fishing tackle at the bottom of northern Ontario lakes,” the household mentioned in an announcement on social media.
