A male journalist working for crypto outlet The Block has been handed the doubtful honor of being nominated on this 12 months’s Rising Girls in Crypto Awards hosted by Wirex and BeInCrypto.
As confirmed by The Block’s Editor-In-Chief Tim Copeland, the outlet’s Asia Editor Timmy Shen was shortlisted for “Best Crypto Journalist” as a part of the awards that remember feminine expertise in crypto.
Given the award’s nomination course of, Shen may have submitted himself for entry or any individual else might have put his identify ahead.
