Man accused of killing Jackson mayor's niece Mia Sims arrested in California

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Antonio Inexperienced, the person accused of killing Mia Sims, has been caught by police in Fresno, California. He’s being charged with second-degree homicide.

On July 27, 18-year previous Mia Sims was shot within the neck exterior of United Peoples Church. She died on the hospital.

“I am grateful for the work done by Michigan State Police Fugitive Team in connection with our local Detectives in working tirelessly to locate Antonio Green,” stated Jackson Police Chief Christopher Simpson.

Sims was the niece of Jackson Mayor Daniel Mahoney.

“He shot my niece while she was at church,” Mahoney wrote on social media. “She went exterior to get pancakes her grandmother made for her and by no means returned again in to the church. She was 18, she simply graduated highschool.”
