Man dies after being rescued from Lake Chemung

LANSING, Mich, (WLNS) — A person who was rescued from a lake in Livingston County Wednesday afternoon has died, in response to Brighton Fireplace Chief Michael O’Brian.

The person was out on Lake Chemung between Howell and Brighton Wednesday afternoon—and located himself trapped out on the ice.

Responders from the Brighton Fireplace Division went out to rescue him however discovered themselves caught as effectively, prompting rescue from the Coast Guard, in response to the Livingston County Sheriff.
