LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– The Michigan State Police have recognized the person who was shot and killed on April 6, 2025.

Joel Cothern, a 27-year-old Lansing man was strolling the fallacious manner alongside US-127 close to Barnes Rd. in Vevay Twp. The Ingham County Sheriff’s Workplace stated officers approached Cothern, reporting that he was “non-compliant.”
