A person has been severely injured in an assault on the Berlin Holocaust memorial.
Police mentioned he was attacked by “an unknown person” at about 6pm native time – with native media reporting it was a stabbing.
“The injured man was taken to hospital. Rescue workers are on site caring for several people who had to witness the events. Investigations are ongoing at the crime scene,” police mentioned on X.

The suspect remains to be at giant and officers mentioned the motive was up to now unclear they usually cannot but verify what weapon was used.
