Marvel What Alexa Chung Smells Like? We’ve Bought the Reply

Trend icon Alexa Chung has lengthy been one in all our favourite trendsetters, so naturally, we’re at all times interested in what she’s carrying—particularly with regards to magnificence. Fortunate for us, she just lately revealed her signature scent to The Reduce. Whereas many people Beauty editors are responsible of stocking our vanities with numerous perfumes and swapping out our signature scent seasonally, Chung retains it refreshingly easy, naming only one as her all-time favourite.

When requested to call her “signature scent,” she revealed, “Régime des Fleurs. It’s a fragrance made in collaboration with my friend Christopher Niquet. It’s called Rock River Melody and it’s named after his pony from when he was a kid, which is a really extra name to give a horse.” (True.) Thankfully for us, she described its distinctive scent as properly. “It sort of smells like leather, but it’s also feminine and warm. It has a summer vibe to it but not too floral and pretty,” she mentioned.

Perfumer and Régime des Fleurs founder Alia Raza has her personal vivid description: “Christopher and I worked together to capture that feeling of striking out into the outdoors for the first time after a long winter. Crisp spring mornings with young leaves on trees and flowers just beginning to bud. We envisioned the magic of the ancient forest of Fontainebleau outside of Paris whose vistas have been captured by artists and inhabited by French aristocracy for a millennium.”

For many who choose a breakdown of perfume notes, the scent opens with contemporary, inexperienced hedera ivy and bergamot, transitions into earthy patchouli and delicate florals like rose and finishes heat and woody with sandalwood, cedar and musk. Should you love an earthy, outdoors-inspired perfume, this one may simply be value including to your assortment—particularly with Chung’s seal of approval.
