LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The Michigan Division of Transportation (MDOT) will shut Haslett Highway from Saginaw Freeway to Park Lake Highway on August 25 for “pavement rehabilitation” as a part of its Main Highway Enhancements undertaking.
The Division of Public Works reviews that the closure will embody the Haslett and Hagadorn intersection. Undertaking detours will embody Saginaw Freeway, Park Lake Highway, and Burcham Drive for each northbound and southbound visitors on Hagadorn Highway.
The division reviews that the preliminary section of the undertaking will embody a full closure of Haslett Highway from Saginaw Freeway to the Hagadorn intersection. That part of the highway is scheduled to reopen on the finish of September.
The second section features a full closure of Haslett Highway from the Hagadorn intersection to west of Park Lake Highway.
The undertaking is predicted to be accomplished by November, with extra sign work deliberate for spring 2026.
