LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Protesters gathered in entrance of U.S. Rep. Tom Barrett’s Lansing workplace Thursday to voice their disappointment in his “yes” vote on the “one big, beautiful bill.”

Specifically, these protesters are usually not comfortable that he supported the laws’s cuts to Medicaid. The protest was initially scheduled to ask Rep. Rep. Barrett mentioned the cuts would take away recipients who’re ineligible from this system. There would even be a requirement for some recipients with the intention to qualify for this system.
