Meridian Township shuts workplaces early as a consequence of climate

Meridian Township shuts workplaces early as a consequence of climate

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Meridian Township has introduced it’ll shut its workplaces at 3 pm. Dec. 23. The explanation – the freezing rain and potential blanketing the area.

The workplaces for the township will re-open on Thursday, December 26, 2024 for regular enterprise hours.

Along with closing township workplaces early Monday, the municipality can also be encouraging residents to remain off the roads as journey could possibly be harmful. The township studies it has begun inserting salt on roadways to reduce ice accumulation on the roads.

The Meridian Township Municipal Constructing (WLNS)

The Nationwide Climate Service in Grand Rapids has issued a Winter Climate Advisory for the area that started at 7 a.m. Monday and expires at 7 p.m. The company famous there was an opportunity of freezing rain and snow accumulation making journey troublesome.
