Mexico: 1000’s march towards crime and corruption in Era Z protests, with 100 police injured

1000’s have taken to the streets of Mexico Metropolis to protest towards crime and corruption – with 120 individuals left injured, in line with authorities.

Pablo Vazquez, safety secretary for Mexico’s capital, mentioned that of these injured, 100 have been cops with 40 hospitalised, whereas 20 individuals have been arrested.

The demonstration, which was principally peaceable however ended with some clashes with officers, was organised by younger individuals underneath the banner Era Z.

Clara Brugada, mayor of Mexico Metropolis, mentioned on X that “violent expression violates the rights of others” and condemned any act “carried out by a radical group of protesters”.
