LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The Ada Valley Meat Firm, of Ada, Michigan, is recalling roughly 1,065 kilos of a completely cooked frozen floor beef product as a consequence of potential metallic contamination.

The U.S. Division of Agriculture’s Meals Security and Inspection Service (FSIS) reviews that the frozen ready-to-eat floor beef merchandise was packed on Might 28, 2025, and Might 30, 2025.

The merchandise with the next label have been recalled:

20-lb. cardboard field circumstances containing 4 5-lb. plastic baggage of “Ada Valley FULLY COOKED GROUND BEEF” with Pack Date 5/28/25 with lot code 35156 or Pack Date 5/30/25 with lot code 35157 represented on the label.

The merchandise topic to recall are labeled with the institution quantity “EST. 10031” contained in the USDA mark of inspection.

This merchandise was shipped to institutions and distributors in California, Delaware, Illinois, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.

FSIS reviews that the issue was initially found once they acquired a shopper grievance reporting that items of metallic had been discovered within the product.
