LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” marketing campaign in Michigan begins immediately (Aug. 15) and runs by means of Sept. 1.

Of the 44 Labor Day driver deaths in Michigan crashes between 2019 and 2023, 43.2% of the drivers have been impaired by both alcohol or medication, in accordance with the College of Michigan Transportation Analysis Institute (UMTRI).
