LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Michigan Republicans might be internet hosting a rally on Monday on the Capitol to “honor the life and legacy” of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
Kirk was shot and killed on Sept. 10 whereas debating on the campus of Utah Valley College as a part of his “American Comeback” tour.
Michigan Home Republicans introduced in a Fb submit that the rally will happen on the steps of the Capitol at 4:00 p.m. on Sept. 15.
Alex Bitzan, who leads the Michigan State College’s chapter of Turning Level USA, stated Kirk’s killing left members grieving.
“I would have the same exact response if it was someone I disagreed with and this behavior is just not acceptable under any circumstances,” Bitzan advised 6 Information on Thursday.

“Thinking of Charlie Kirk, his family, and the community at UVU after the horrific shooting,” Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer wrote on social media. “We should all come together to stand up against any and all forms of political violence. It’s unacceptable.”
The Hill studies that Utah Gov. Spencer Cox (R) recognized Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old resident of Utah, on Friday because the suspect arrested for Kirk’s assassination.
