LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A gaggle of Mid-Michiganders have a giant journey forward of them as they appear to swim the size of the Mackinac Bridge, not solely only for enjoyable however to help first responders.

The Mackinac Bridge Swim is a non-profit group that focuses on giving again to the group. The group met Sunday on the Mason Aquatic Middle to swim laps, making ready to swim throughout the Straits of Mackinac. The group will make the 4.5-mile swim this summer time.
