Michigan home violence shelters obtain $420,000 in grants

Michigan home violence shelters obtain 0,000 in grants

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — All 45 state-funded home violence shelters round Michigan had been awarded a complete of $420,000 in grants by the DTE Power Basis on Thursday.

“Recognizing domestic violence is the first step toward ending it,” says Rodney Cole, president of the DTE Basis. “By supporting shelters and survivors, we not solely assist them discover security and therapeutic but in addition construct a neighborhood the place everybody can reside free from concern and hurt.”

With this newest spherical of grants, the inspiration has donated over $3 million to Michigan home violence shelters prior to now 6 years.
