Michigan investigators bust worldwide human trafficking ring

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — 5 folks have been charged in reference to an alleged worldwide human trafficking ring involving illicit therapeutic massage parlors in Metro Detroit, the Michigan Lawyer Basic introduced Friday.

Following an investigation that started this summer season, seven to 9 girls of Chinese language and Korean origin have been discovered and free of alleged trafficking Friday when dozens of legislation enforcement officers executed search warrants at 4 therapeutic massage parlors in Detroit, Highland Pak, st. Clair Shores, and Sterling Heights.

Conspiracy to Commit Conducting a Legal Enterprise, a 20-year felony

Accepting Earnings from Prostitution, a 20-year felony

Transportation for Prostitution, a 20-year felony

Cash Laundering, a 10-year felony

Retaining a Home of Prostitution, a 5-year felony

Huazi Piao

Conducting a Legal Enterprise

Conspiracy to Commit a Legal Enterprise

Accepting Earnings from Prostitution

Cash Laundering

2 counts of Retaining a Home of Prostitution

Jon Villasurda, of Clinton Township, a Michigan resident and American citizen

Conducting a Legal Enterprise

Conspiracy to Commit Conducting a Legal Enterprise

Transportation in Service of Prostitution

Oumar Lougue, a 53-year-old non-citizen from West Africa

Conducting a Legal Enterprise; 

Conspiracy to Commit Conducting a Legal Enterprise; 

Accepting Earnings from Prostitution; and 

Retaining a Home of Prostitution. 

Ming Li, a 59-year-old undocumented immigrant

Conducting a Legal Enterprise; 

Conspiracy to commit a Legal Enterprise; and 

2 counts of Retaining a Home of Prostitution.
