Michigan State College joins Campus Race to Zero Waste competitors

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Michigan State College (MSU) will be a part of colleges throughout the county within the Campus Race to Zero Waste competitors.

For the following 8 weeks over 100 colleges will likely be competing in 5 recycling classes, together with complete recycling, waste minimization, cans & bottles, paper and cardboard.

MSU gained the cardboard class in 2024, beating second-place Clemson College by 125,000 kilos collected.

Campus Race to Zero Waste reviews they’ve labored with greater than 1,000 schools and universities within the U.S. and Canada to offer competitors instruments and assets to assist campuses attain their waste discount targets.
