LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The Michigan Division of Treasury (MDT) is warning taxpayers with past-due tax money owed to pay attention to scammers sending threatening letters.

Based on the Treasury, taxpayers might obtain a letter concerning overdue tax payments. This letter tells people to contact a toll-free quantity to resolve the debt.
