LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– The Michigan Division of Lifelong Schooling, Development, and Potential (MiLEAP) introduced that Michigan’s PreK for All program has reached all 10 high quality benchmarks for the eighth yr.

Michigan is considered one of 5 states to fulfill all 10 of the Nationwide Institute for Early Schooling’s high quality benchmarks for PreK.

In response to the Nationwide Institute for Early Schooling Analysis’s mission assertion, the standard requirements analysis offers data-driven data that identifies what elements contribute to high-quality early schooling and the obstacles to reaching high-quality early schooling.

“Every child deserves access to a high-quality education, and I am proud that Michigan’s PreK for All program has yet again been recognized as a top program nationwide,” mentioned Governor Whitmer in a information launch to six Information. “All Michigan four-year-olds are eligible to enroll in free, high-quality PreK, giving them a solid academic foundation while saving their families $10,000 per year.
