Miniature traditional car-maker Hedley Studios revs up rescue deal

An organization which makes miniaturised electrical variations of traditional automobiles has secured a rescue deal led by an American service provider banking group.

FRP Advisory is known to have acted as administrator earlier than promoting the enterprise to an entity managed by Island Capital Group.

Hedley Studios was based in 2018, when luxurious car-maker Bugatti approached Ben Hedley to see if he may recreate a Twenties Sort 35 racing automobile at half-scale to mark its one hundred and tenth anniversary.

Hedley Studios manufactures its automobiles at three-quarters the dimensions of the unique mannequin, with the ensuing automobiles usually costing £75,000 or extra.

Andrew Farkas, founder, chairman and CEO of Island Capital, which initially backed Hedley Studios in 2023, mentioned: “This latest investment is testament to the entrepreneurial spirit of Ben and his team in building a successful British luxury brand in a short period of time.

“Automotive fanatics globally are more and more eager to honour these historic icons, bringing them to new audiences in a brand new, totally electrical method.

“Our broader investment marks the beginning of a new chapter for Hedley Studios, reinforcing its position as a leader in the creation of luxury, driveable artworks, and Island Capital is excited to be part of that growth journey.”
