MSU Hockey tops Wisconsin at Frozen Confines behind Russell's last-second time beyond regulation winner

CHICAGO, In poor health. (WLNS) – Junior ahead Daniel Russell ended an unforgettable night time with a dramatic flourish, netting the game-winning objective with simply 1.4 seconds to play in time beyond regulation as No. 1 Michigan State beat Wisconsin 4-3 within the Frozen Confines outside sport at Wrigley Area.

Sophomore goaltender Luca Di Pasquo posted a career-high 32 saves and improved to 6-0 as a starter this season.

With the win, the Spartans enhance to 17-2-1 total and transfer right into a tie with Minnesota for first place within the Massive Ten standings with 24 factors.

MSU returns to motion subsequent Friday and Saturday at Penn State.
