MSU males's tennis heads to NCAA Match for second-straight season

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)—Michigan State’s males’s tennis staff will face North Alabama within the Mississippi State Regional on Friday, Might 2nd, at 11 a.m. That is the second consecutive season and simply the third time in program historical past that MSU has made the large dance.

“Hopefully we can catch up to Coach Izzo in a few years, but that’s obviously a standard you want to have in your program,” Coach Harry Jadun mentioned. “Outside of that, last year, we advanced past the first round. Hopefully this year, we can make a deeper run, but it starts with one. If you want to continue to push the needle, we talk about ‘firsts’ within our program. We’ve done a lot in the past couple of years, so we’ve got to keep that going and hopefully make a deeper run this year.”

“I think you know teams respect us now, Senior, Max Sheldon said. “They do not assume we’re simply right here by probability. We have been floating round Prime 25 the entire season, so clearly now we have that degree to us.”
