EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – One other Democrat is working for Michigan’s seventh Congressional District.

Michigan State College professor Josh Cowen introduced his candidacy for america Home of Representatives on Thursday. He’s seeking to tackle Republican Congressman Tom Barrett for the seventh Congressional District seat, which incorporates a lot of Mid-Michigan.

Cowen will face off towards former Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink and Former Navy SEAL Matt Maasdam within the August Democratic Major in 2026.
