Every baby decorates a police automotive, spends time with East Lansing PD’s new consolation neighborhood K-9 ‘Silas,’ and listens to storytime by one of many officers.
Lt. Adrian Ojerio, an officer with East Lansing PD says the occasion was a chance for youths and their dad and mom to satisfy native legislation enforcement of their neighborhood.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity to engage in the community. That positive interaction that I personally have with the community is really fulfilling,” said Ojerio. “It’s why I signed up to do law enforcement. So again, it brings a lot of smiles, not only to the community but to me personally.”
