LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Michigan Home Republicans report that Senate Democrats have agreed to undertake new “transparency requirements” for federal spending as a part of ongoing price range negotiations.

Michigan Home Speaker Matt Corridor says that Home Decision 14 would require each spending merchandise requested by legislators to be “publicly vetted with a real justification” and be accessible on-line to the general public.

Moreover, the decision would ban earmark spending for for-profit companies and would enhance requirements for non-profit recipients.
