Not less than 37 folks lifeless and dozens injured in bus crash in Bolivia

Not less than 37 folks have died and dozens have been injured after a crash involving two buses in Bolivia.

The incident came about within the western Potosi area, police and native authorities mentioned on Saturday.

It occurred through the early hours of Saturday morning on the roads between the cities of Uyuni and Colchani.

One bus was mentioned to have swerved into the oncoming lane.

“As a result of this fatal accident, we have 39 people injured in four hospitals in the town of Uyuni, and 37 people have lost their lives,” a spokesperson for the Departmental Police Command of Potosi advised reporters.

One of many buses was heading to Oruro, the place one of the necessary carnival celebrations in Latin America is presently happening.

The crash follows an incident final month when 31 folks died when a bus plunged 800m (2,600ft) off a mountainous highway.
