LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — An 80-year-old man from Okemos was killed in a crash on I-96 Saturday night.
Michigan State Police Sixth District stories that troopers from the Lakeview Submit responded to a crash on Eastbound I-96 north of Clarksville.
Police say the crash occurred round 6:31 p.m.
Police say that after a preliminary investigation, it was decided that visitors was stopped at a development zone when a semi didn’t cease and crashed into the stopped automobiles.
Eight automobiles, excluding the semi-truck, have been concerned within the crash. Police say a number of folks have been taken to the hospital.
I-96 was shut down for round six hours, reopening at 12:45 a.m. Sunday.
