LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Hundreds of Halloween followers and lovers of all issues odd banded collectively for the annual Pageant of Oddities on Saturday in Charlotte.

The weekend-long celebration offered folks with a chance to buy haunted and spooky knick-knacks, in addition to go to the within of the courthouse sq. museum, which is rumored to be haunted.

Individuals may contact giant tarantulas and meet with paranormal consultants.

Organizers say the occasion is a good way to kick off the spooky season.

“People love spooky beloved Halloween. You know, it’s the perfect time of the year to kind of get into that mode and start getting your Halloween decorations. We support a lot of local small vendors and local authors. So, of course, fans of certain artists and certain authors make their way here from all over the state, and even out of the state to come see their favorites,” stated Jen Carpenter, an occasion organizer.
