Pewamo-Westphalia pulls away down the stretch to remain unbeaten

WESTPHALIA, Mich. (WLNS) – The Pewamo-Westphalia boys basketball staff defeated Portland St. Patrick 64-42 on Wednesday evening to enhance to 3-0, with all three wins coming in opposition to convention opponents.

The Shamrocks lower the lead all the way down to 33-27 with 4:46 to play within the third quarter however the Pirates outscored them 31-15 from that second on.

Junior Grady Eklund led the way in which for Pewamo-Westphalia with 24 factors.

The staff’s three wins have all come in opposition to CMAC opponents: Laingsburg, Lansing Christian and Portland St. Patrick. Additional, the Pirates have received all three video games by at the least 20 factors.

The Pirates will proceed convention play on Friday after they host Saranac at 7 p.m. They will not play their first non-conference sport till Dec. twenty seventh in a vacation match at Cornerstone College.
