Pita Method in DeWitt to host 'Epilepsy Consciousness Day' fundraiser

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – March 26 marks “Purple Day,” also referred to as “Epilepsy Awareness Day,” a world initiative to boost consciousness concerning the situation and assist individuals who take care of it each day.

Epilepsy is the overall time period for a wide range of neurological situations characterised by recurrent unprovoked seizures. In keeping with the Epilepsy Basis of Michigan, it is the fourth commonest neurological dysfunction in the US, and practically 4% of Individuals will develop it in some unspecified time in the future of their lives.

There is a fundraiser occurring Wednesday at Pita Method in DeWitt – 13070 Previous U.S. 27 – from 4 p.m.- 9 p.m. The restaurant will donate 20% of its gross sales to the Epilepsy Basis of Michigan.
