Poland: Lady killed with axe at Warsaw College as safety guard critically injured

Poland: Lady killed with axe at Warsaw College as safety guard critically injured

A lady has been killed with an axe at Warsaw College in Poland, authorities have stated.

The incident occurred at round 6.40pm native time (5.40pm UK time) on Wednesday when a person armed with the weapon attacked individuals on the campus, in response to police.

A spokesperson for the district prosecutor’s workplace stated the attacker had entered an auditorium on the college.

They stated a feminine administrative worker of the establishment was killed on the scene.

And a safety guard was taken to hospital in a crucial situation after being injured.

Police vans and a cordon have been reportedly seen across the auditorium.

Warsaw Police stated they’d detained a 22-year-old Polish man.

In keeping with reviews, the suspect was a scholar.

In an announcement, the rector of Warsaw College stated that Thursday can be a day of mourning on the establishment, calling the assault a “huge tragedy”.

“We express our great sorrow and sympathy to the family and loved ones,” the assertion learn.
