Police ask for assist after capturing injures 2 in Meridian Mall parking zone

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A 19-year-old lady from Lansing has been arrested in reference to a capturing within the parking zone of the Meridian Mall in Okemos that injured two individuals. Police are asking the general public for assist discovering autos they consider to be concerned within the incident.

Police from Meridian Township, East Lansing and Michigan State College responded to the scene, within the parking zone close to Dick’s Sporting Items at round 1:25 p.m. When officers arrived, all the individuals concerned had already left the scene. Police say these concerned have been recognized and located at a close-by hospital, and a 19-year-old lady from Lansing was arrested by police.

Meridian Township police posted the next assertion on its Fb web page: “The Meridian Township Police Department is investigating a shooting at the Meridian Mall. Please avoid the East side of the Mall near the Dicks Sporting Goods entrance at this time. It is not believed that there is a continued threat to the public.”

The Meridian Township Police are asking for assist discovering two vehicles they consider to have been concerned within the capturing:

Burgundy sedan, probably a Chrysler 300 or Toyota Camry with dark-tinted home windows and darkish coloured rims

Black sedan, probably a Chevy Malibu with tinted home windows
