Police determine 2 males killed in Monday morning I-94 crash close to Jackson

Police determine 2 males killed in Monday morning I-94 crash close to Jackson

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Police have recognized the 2 males who had been killed in a crash Monday on I-94 west of Jackson.

In accordance with Blackman-Leoni Township Division of Public Security Director Darin McIntosh, Montez Dallas Watson, a 30-year-old from Sterling Heights, and Tyreke Martez Johnson, a 22-year-old from Warren, had been each within the cab of a field truck that slammed into the again of a slowed-down gravel hauler semi truck.

Crash at I-94 at Airport Rd Exit 137 close to Jackson (MDOT)

The crash was first reported at 9:15 a.m., in keeping with the Michigan Division of Transportation.

I-94 was closed at Airport Rd for nearly eight hours whereas crews responded to the crash. Crews reopened the interstate round 4:30 p.m.
