Prep basketball roundup: Brandon McCoy’s Sierra Canyon debut is a dunkfest

Redondo Union 68, Ariz. Sunnyslope 64: SJ Madison and Chris Sanders every scored 18 factors to knock off a nationally-ranked staff.

Ladies basketball

Sherman Oaks Notre Dame 65, Palisades 50: Zi Kennybrew led Notre Dame with 14 factors and MaZiya Randolph added 13 factors and 10 rebounds.

Ontario Christian 91, Phoenix O’Connor 37: Kaleena Smith completed with 35 factors for 2-0 Ontario Christian.
