Prep basketball roundup: It will likely be Harvard-Westlake vs. Roosevelt on Saturday evening

The sport that was anticipated to occur per week in the past will lastly happen Saturday evening when two-time defending state champion Harvard-Westlake travels to play Southern Part Open Division champion Eastvale Roosevelt.

“It’s going to be fun,” Harvard-Westlake guard Joe Sterling mentioned.

Harvard-Westlake (31-2), upset by Sherman Oaks Notre Dame within the Southern Part playoffs, arrange the matchup by defeating St. John Bosco 70-55 within the Southern California regionals Wednesday evening.
