Presidential Electors meet Tuesday in Lansing

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The official electors for the 2024 Presidential contest will collect Tuesday on the state Capitol.

The 15 electors will solid their votes for Michigan’s 15 Electoral Faculty ballots for President-Elect Donald Trump and Vice President-Elect JD Vance.

In preparation for the vote, Michigan’s Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson met Dec. 3 to signal the official “Certificates of Ascertainment.” This doc declares Michigan’s official, authorized electors.
