LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A recount was wanted to substantiate Democratic incumbent Jacob Tooney’s victory in a nail-biting race for Eaton County Commissioner.

The Eaton County Board of Canvassers carried out a hand-done recount of votes solid within the Eaton County Commissioner District 10 race between Democratic incumbent Jacob Toomey and Republican Jim Ruff.
