LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has introduced that two redevelopment tasks in Hillsdale and Albion have acquired assist from the Revitalization and Placemaking (RAP) program.

Michigan Governor’s Workplace says the RAP tasks will rehabilitate vacant buildings within the two cities to create industrial area and 11 complete housing items.

The workplace says the tasks will generate a complete capital funding of over $4.27 million, creating residential density and vibrancy of their downtown areas. 

The RAP program helps present monetary assist for infrastructure improvement and actual property rehabilitation/improvement.

“The RAP program helps to create vibrant places that attract and retain talent, add new housing options, enable business creation and attraction, and provide resources for our Michigan communities.
