GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A Clare County sheriff’s deputy is being honored for braving a probably harmful dwelling to assist a 12-year-old lady who had been shot.
Sgt. James Dawson was introduced with the Sheriff’s Workplace Bravery Award Thursday, the Clare County Sheriff’s Workplace introduced in a launch, for his “brave and selfless acts” Tuesday close to the Isabella-Midland county line.
Round midnight Tuesday, troopers responded to a house on NE County Line Street close to Shearer Street, northwest of Midland, for a report of photographs fired, based on the Michigan State Police.
