LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A person was killed earlier in the present day after he was hit by a semi-truck on I-96 close to Webberville.
The Ingham County Sheriff’s Workplace reviews that deputies and members of the Northeast Ingham Emergency Companies Authority responded to I-96 westbound on the M-52 overpass for a report of a person being hit by a semi-truck.
First responders arrived to search out the physique of the person on the freeway.
Upon additional investigation, deputies realized that the person walked into the westbound lane of the freeway and was then hit by the semi-truck.
The Ingham Regional Crash Investigation Crew and the Medical Examiner’s Workplace assisted with the investigation and identification of the person.
The workplace has not publicly recognized the person.
That is an ongoing investigation.
