The accusations emerged after the prosecutor’s workplace assembled a medical board to see if there was proof of Maradona’s medics committing culpable murder.

In an explosive report, printed in 2021, the board accused Maradona’s staff of appearing in an “inappropriate, deficient and reckless manner”.

The specialists questioned why Maradona was launched from hospital so quickly after his surgical procedure, with the report stating: “The home confinement did not comply with norms and protocols.”
