A severed hand is assumed to have been found close to a Dublin college – as Irish police started an investigation.
Officers have been advised “partial human remains” had been discovered at Our Woman Immaculate college in Darndale, within the northern suburbs of Dublin, on Friday afternoon.
The scene has been examined and the Irish state pathologist was notified.
Police mentioned the stays might be taken away to be checked out and examined for DNA to assist them affirm the id and determine how the investigation ought to transfer ahead.
Irish colleges are at present on mid-term break.
Inquiries are ongoing, officers added.
