HARTLAND, Mich. (WLNS) — Three persons are within the Livingston County Jail after they fought with Livingston County Sheriff deputies at an occasion that includes basketball legend and actor Shaquille O’Neal.

Shaq was on the town to advertise the Huge Hen restaurant. A crowd estimated by the sheriff’s division of as many as 300 gathered.

One man turned verbally confrontational with deputies on the scene, Livingston County Sheriff Division officers reported in a information launch. The confrontation was de-esculated.

From the information launch, “a bystander alerted Deputies that this same individual was making assaultive remarks about the deputies and was digging into a backpack. The bystander then alluded to the fact they believed he had a weapon in the bag.”

When the deputy approached the 21-year-old man, he took a swing on the deputy, officers from Livingston County report. Through the struggled the deputy deployed his taser.

The person was not alone, nevertheless. Sheriff officers reported within the information launch, two others tried to intervene within the wrestle between the 21-year-old man and the deputy. They report a 48-year-old lady tried to disarm the deputy. The 48-year-old lady’s daughter, 21, additionally joined in along with her mom making an attempt to cease the arrest of the 21-year-old man.

Extra legislation enforcement intervened and all three have been transported to the Livingston County Jail on “multiple felonies.”

Nobody was injured throughout this incident, Livingston County Sheriff Division experiences.
