‘Task’ is getting some buzz that it’s going to be a must-watch, and something HBO is all the time huge. How are you feeling with every thing?
“Honestly, I’m so excited. I feel like any second that I’m not working or focusing on something, my brain just goes and starts to think about what dress I’m wearing or the hugs I’ll give the cast when I see them. I’m just so excited! My parents are actually flying in for it, and I can’t wait to see them and give them a big squeeze. I have this image in my brain that keeps replaying…me being all glammed up, my parents in one room. It’s a little bit like getting married and showing them the first look.”
It’s big. While you do huge premiere issues like this, do you intend out means earlier than? Do you have got temper boards together with your glam workforce or do you simply let it movement the day of?
“I think it will all be a big collaboration at the end of the day. We want to get to a point where everyone is happy, and I need to feel confident with what I’m wearing and how I’m presenting myself. This is kind of my ‘coming up party.’ And I am such a planner! I made two mood boards, and I had a Zoom meeting with my stylist and my manager, and I told them what I’m thinking. Of course, I’m open to ideas, but I know the entire thing will happen so fast. To be totally honest with you, I’m still learning all of it—I don’t really know how a lot of it works! But I know it will be fun.”
It will likely be nice. What was it wish to movie one thing like this—it’s a bit heavier. How was it on set?
“I was spoiled. That’s the best way to describe it. I was absolutely spoiled. Everyone is so kind. I remember I had dinner once with Sam Keely, one of the actors in the show, and he and I were talking, because I was like: ‘This is my first big series.’ And he was like, ‘Wow, dude, or this to be your first experience is such a gift, because we all like each other.’

There was definitely an environment of support and kindness. Everyone is so lovely. And to have both Brad and Mark be our leader—two nice people who set the culture of the whole space—is a gift. They are both kind honest, incredibly talented human beings. So honestly, it was all amazing.”
And I’m positive that’ll present within the work. While you’re filming, do you have got a very good routine that helps you stroll away out of your character? Do you go dwelling at night time and let it go?
“I’m gonna toot my horn a little bit and say, I think one of my good qualities is that I can snap out of it pretty quickly I think that’s why Mark and I work together really well, because we’re very similar in this way. We could be in a really dramatic scene, and I could be screaming at him, and he would be screaming at me, and we would stop and get ice cream. Everything had that back and forth. I think in a show that’s so heavy, it really suits me to be able to step out of it and go back to myself quickly. I know that might not work all the time, but I honestly do not take it home with me at all.”
In the future, hopefully we’ll all be good at that. Since we’re a magnificence journal, are there any merchandise you actually love proper now, or something you used on set that you simply like?
“What I started doing towards the latter part of shooting is the OmniLux, the neck one. It’s a bit of an investment. But my skin is loving it. And I love it! I will go on vacation, and bring it with me! I’m pretty dedicated. Honestly, other than that, I learned that simplicity works best for me. I do like Dr. Jart a lot—I like the cleansers, the moisturizer, the SPF. I got really lucky in the show, because my character doesn’t really wear makeup, and I didn’t have to do any drastic changes. I really just drank more water and skipped the margaritas!”
